Pumpkin Raisin Scones
You will adore these breakfast treats if you like pumpkin. They are made with all-purpose and whole wheat flour, applesauce, spices, pecans, and raisins; they resemble muffins more than classic scones.

Set oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).

Grease two baking sheets very lightly.

All-purpose and whole wheat flour, baking soda, and powder should be combined in a large bowl.

Add salt, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, and cloves.

Place aside.

Separately, in a sizable bowl, beat butter until it is fluffy.

Add applesauce and stir until well combined before gradually incorporating 2 1/4 cups sugar.

Add the eggs and pumpkin and stir.

Blend the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gradually.

Pecans and raisins are then stirred in.

Drop scones onto cookie sheets in heaping tablespoonfuls, spacing them 2 inches apart.

Use the back of a spoon to flatten the scones.

Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of sugar and 3 tablespoons of cinnamon in a small bowl over the scones.
