Chicken Foster
My dad made this for me a while back and I loved it. Now, I found the recipe and he told me to submit it. Chicken, bananas, and coconut rum make one interesting, tasty, tropical dish. Great for Luau parties. Serve with steamed vegetables and rice.
Brown sugar and butter are combined in a big skillet over medium heat.
Add salt and pepper to the chicken, then coat with flour.
Cook, stirring occasionally, the chicken and bananas in the skillet until the chicken is almost fully cooked.
Heat through after incorporating the rum and amaretto.
Remove from the burner, then flambe with a long match or lighter.
Till the alcohol burns off and the flame goes out, let it burn.
