Angel food cake, chocolate-covered crispy peanut butter candy bars, and whipped topping are layered together in this simple dessert that is a great way to use up leftover Halloween candy.

In a big bowl, combine egg yolks, butter, and confectioners’ sugar and beat with an electric mixer until creamy.

Whip the cream cheese into the mixture.

On the bottom of a trifle dish, distribute half of the pieces of angel food cake.

Over the cake pieces, spread an even layer of half the whipped topping mixture.

Over the top, distribute half of the crushed candy bars.

Repeat the layers using the remaining cake, whipped topping, and candy.

Before serving, cover the dish with plastic wrap and chill for at least one hour.
