Postre de Limon (Mexican Lime Dessert)
This simple no-bake dessert, a favorite in Mexico, layers Maria cookies with evaporated milk, condensed milk, and lime juice.
In a bowl, combine lime juice, condensed milk, evaporated milk, and salt.
Beat well with an electric mixer.
In the bottom of a small baking dish, layer some Maria cookies.
Add a layer of the milk mixture on top.
Continue layering the milk mixture on top of the cookies and continue.
Wrap plastic wrap around the baking dish.
5 to 8 hours in the fridge is enough to get it firm.
Square them up.
Lime zest is a garnish.
