Grandma T’s Pineapple Cream Pie
One of your family’s most cherished recipes will undoubtedly be Grandma’s undiscovered pineapple cream pie recipe.
In a pan over medium heat, combine the sugar, flour, and salt.
Add the milk and stir continuously for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and starts to bubble.
Get rid of the heat.
Add butter and pineapple egg yolks to the milk mixture.
Return to heat and cook for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture starts to bubble.
Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until hot and thick.
Mixture should be poured into the pie crust.
For at least three hours, chill in the refrigerator.
