Ricotta cheese, orange juice, and orange zest really kick up the flavors of this easy orange cake recipe.

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

Using a fluted tube pan, such as a Bundt®, grease and flour it.

Make the cake: In a sizable bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, ricotta cheese, oil, orange juice, orange zest, and orange extract.

Blend the batter thoroughly.

Fill the pan with the batter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Allow to cool for 15 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Carefully flip the food over onto a serving platter, then give it an hour to cool completely.

To make the glaze, combine orange juice, orange zest, and powdered sugar in a small bowl.

Add glaze to the cooled cake.
