Exquisite Pulled Pork
Molasses, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce give this pulled pork a sweet and tangy flavor.
One teaspoon of olive oil should be added to a slow cooker before layering onion slices on top.
Over the onion, place the pork roast.
Cook pork on Low for 8 to 9 hours, or until very tender.
Discard the onion and liquid after transferring the roast to a platter.
Use two forks to shred the pork.
In a stock pot, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
Cook and stir the chopped onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes for about 5 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.
Add tomato paste, molasses, brown sugar, and chopped up pork.
Stir together the Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Cover and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce has thickened.
