Classic Pub Goulash (Keto)
In Central Europe, Scandinavia, and Southern Europe, goulash is a common dish, and this flavorful and simple keto-friendly recipe won’t let you down.
In a pot over high heat, melt the lard.
Add onions; cook and stir for 15 minutes or until browned.
With the heat off, quickly stir in the paprika and onions to prevent burning.
Place the pot over high heat with the meat added.
Cook and stir for 5 to 10 minutes, or until everything is browned.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Stir in tomato paste after adding it.
Add water, cumin, and garlic.
Turn down the heat and cover the pot.
Cook for at least 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the meat is extremely tender.
Add marjoram and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
