Wilderness Place Lodge Cookies
The proprietors of the Wilderness Place Lodge in Lake Creek, Alaska, are the ones who made these cookies. The chefs at this fishing lodge are world-class, and the owners are excellent friends of mine. You’ll be as satisfied by one of these cookies as you would be by a cheeseburger and fries, I guarantee it!
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Grease baking trays.
Cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until thoroughly combined in a very large bowl.
Stir in the vanilla after beating in each egg one at a time.
After combining the flour, salt, and baking soda, thoroughly incorporate it into the sugar mixture.
Oats are added, followed by raisins, nuts, coconut, and chocolate chips.
Spoon the mixture onto the preheated cookie sheets in heaping teaspoonfuls.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow cookies to cool on cookie sheets for a short while before transferring them to wire racks to finish cooling.
