Vegetarian Salisbury Steak
This vegetarian version of Salisbury steak, an American dinner favorite, is made with Impossibleâ„¢ burger instead of ground beef.
Slice one half an onion, then set it aside.
The remaining onion half should be minced and added to a sizable mixing bowl.
Replace ground beef with bread crumbs and eggs.
To the minced onion, add salt, pepper, and half of the garlic powder.
By hand, combine everything well.
Into 4 equal patties, divide.
Half of the olive oil is heated to a medium-high temperature in a skillet.
Add the patties and cook them for 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
Transfer burgers to a plate.
Onion slices and mushrooms should be added to the skillet along with the leftover olive oil.
About 5 minutes of cooking and stirring should result in a translucent onion.
