Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
Grease 8 muffin tins minimally.
Cook ground chuck, onion, and garlic powder in a sizable skillet or frying pan until everything is evenly browned.
Drain the grease.
After adding the barbecue sauce, simmer for an additional three minutes.
Each biscuit should be rolled out onto a floured surface until it is 6 inches across.
Place the biscuit in the muffin pan, then fold up the sides to form a cup.
The meat mixture should almost reach the top of each biscuit; sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
