Spiced Sweet Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
We like spicy and sweet and this hummus is both. And easy too. Everything is popped into the food processor and pulsed into deliciousness. Cumin and cayenne add a bit of kick and pair nicely with the sweet, sweet roasted peppers. Makes lots.

Puree the chickpeas, red peppers, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, cumin, cayenne, and salt in an electric blender or food processor.

Long pulses should be used to process the mixture until it is relatively smooth and slightly fluffy.

Between pulses, be sure to scrape the mixture off the sides of the food processor or blender.

Refrigerate for at least one hour after transferring to a serving bowl.

(The hummus can be prepared up to three days in advance and chilled.

To serve, bring back to room temperature.
