Smoked Turkey (Without Smoker)
Create the delicious taste of smoked turkey without the hassle of the meat smoker in this 3-ingredient recipe that is great for holidays.
In a bowl, combine liquid smoke and the curing mixture and stir to form a paste.
Apply paste to the turkey’s interior and exterior.
Place the turkey in a zip-top plastic bag and chill for 24 hours.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Dry the turkey after a thorough cold water wash.
Use cooking oil to wipe.
Put the turkey inside an oven bag and, as directed by the manufacturer, poke holes into the bag to allow for ventilation.
Bake the turkey from a bag in a 9×13-inch pan.
