Russian Syrniki
This dessert is a staple in Russian cuisine. Before being combined with flour to form a dough, cottage cheese is first sweetened with sugar. In hot oil, the resulting disks are fried until golden brown. They taste best when paired with jam and sour cream.

Cottage cheese, eggs, and sugar are combined.

Semolina and all-purpose flour should be combined before creating a soft dough.

On a floured surface, place the dough and roll it into a log that is 1 inch thick.

Cut the log into 8 pieces, then press more flour onto each piece to form patties.

Oil is heated to a hot state over medium heat.

Fry the syrniki in hot oil for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
