Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Pears
With savory flavor from roasted Brussels sprouts and bacon, sweetness from pears, and tang from a balsamic reduction, this quick and easy side dish is sure to please.

Set the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees C).

Grease a baking pan very lightly.

In a bowl, mix the pears, Brussels sprouts, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil with the salt, diced onion, garlic powder, and garlic.

Apply the mixture to the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring after 15 minutes to ensure even browning.

Bacon should be cooked in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, turning the bacon occasionally, while the dish is baking.

On paper towels, dry off the bacon slices.

Add the remaining olive oil and balsamic vinegar to the skillet after draining the bacon grease from it and throwing it away.

Cook 3 to 4 minutes with constant stirring over low heat until mixture slightly reduces.

Serve the roasted mixture after pouring.
