Your kids may not even know rhubarb is a key ingredient. Excellent salad with poultry. Another serving suggestion: Make in 9×13 cut in squares and serve topped with your favorite chicken salad.

The rhubarb sugar and 2 tablespoons water should be combined in a saucepan over medium heat.

Rhubarb should be mushy after about 15 minutes of boiling and cooking.

For a sauce, thoroughly combine.

If necessary, taste and adjust the sugar.

Set aside 1 cup.

Save any surplus for future use.

One cup of the boiling hot rhubarb mixture and the raspberry-flavored gelatin should be combined and thoroughly mixed in a medium bowl.

The apples and walnuts are then mixed in after adding 1 cup of cold water.

Pour the mixture into a serving bowl, then chill for 2 to 4 hours, or until it is set.

If you like, garnish dishes with whipped cream or creamy salad dressing before serving.
