Pumpkin Dessert
There are many different kinds of pumpkin desserts, but this one is the best! In this delicious substitute for pumpkin pie, cake mix is used in place of the pastry crust.
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish very lightly.
Create crust: Put 1 cup of the cake mix in a small bowl and reserve it for the topping.
Mix the egg and the remaining cake mix in a bowl after adding the melted butter.
The prepared baking dish’s bottom should be covered with the mixture.
Produce filling: In a sizable bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, milk, brown sugar, eggs, and pumpkin pie spice; whisk to combine.
Pour over crust.
Produce topping: With a pastry blender, combine the white sugar and cubed butter with the cake mix that was set aside until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add to the pumpkin mixture, then top with chopped walnuts.
