Pittsburgh Sandwich
Pittsburghers love Primanti’s legendary sandwiches. This homemade version should quench that craving if you find yourself too far from Pittsburgh.
How to make cole slaw: In a bowl, combine the cabbage, oil, vinegar, sugar, adobo seasoning, and pepper until well-combined.
Refrigerate until needed with a cover on.
Produce the fries: To 375 degrees F, heat the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan (190 degrees C).
Cut potatoes into 1/4-inch-thick fries after peeling.
Fry potatoes in the hot oil for 4 to 5 minutes, or until they float to the top and turn golden brown.
Drain on a plate covered with paper towels.
Construct the sandwiches: Set the oven to 225 degrees Fahrenheit (110 degrees C).
Put slices of bread on a baking sheet.
Bread should be lightly toasted in a preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes.
