Perfect Apple Chips
Perfect for snacking on the go, these apple chips are soaked briefly in a lime mixture and sprinkled with sea salt.
Set oven to 170 degrees Fahrenheit (77 degrees C).
Two baking sheets should be lined with parchment paper, which should be lightly oiled.
In a bowl, combine sugar, lime juice, and water.
Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Apple slices should be soaked in lime juice mixture for 2 to 5 minutes to blend flavors.
Drain and get rid of the liquid.
On the prepared baking sheets, arrange the apple slices in a single layer spaced about 1/8-inch apart.
Fleur de Sel should be added.
Apples should be baked in a preheated oven for 4 hours or until crisp and dried.
Before carefully peeling from the parchment, let cool completely.
