Paella
A traditional spiced dish made in a wok. The sausage, chicken and shrimp blend nicely with the herbs and spices, and there is plenty to go around.

Over medium-high heat, warm a wok.

Italian sausage pieces should be fried in a wok until browned on all sides.

After removing the sausage, brown the chicken strips in the drippings.

After removing the chicken, cook the celery, green pepper, onion, and garlic for 5 minutes, or until they are soft.

Add the raw rice, tomatoes, bay leaves, salt, oregano, and turmeric by stirring.

Cook and stir for one minute, then stir in the chicken broth and tomato juice that was set aside.

Cook the chicken pieces for about 20 minutes with the cover on.

Stir in the shrimp after 15 minutes of simmering the mixture with the sausage, cover, and cook for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, or until the shrimp is done.
