These fried shrimp are sure to become a new favorite because they are first covered in a mixture of cornmeal and Old Bay before being soaked in milk and eggs.

In order to butterfly each shrimp, place it on a flat surface and make a horizontal cut through the middle, being careful not to go all the way through to the other side.

In a bowl, whisk the eggs; add the milk.

The shrimp should soak for an hour in the milk mixture.

a deep fryer or large saucepan with 350 degrees Fahrenheit oil (175 degrees C).

Pour the combined flour, cornmeal, and seafood seasoning into a zip-top bag.

5 to 6 shrimp should be put in the bag; shake vigorously.

Place the shrimp in the hot oil and fry for 5 minutes, or until golden brown and opaque in the center.

To remove oil, remove and place on paper towels.
