Mom’s Vanilla Pound Cake
This traditional vanilla-flavored pound cake, which is made with butter and shortening, is sure to be a hit.

Set the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C).

Using a fluted tube pan, such as a Bundt®, grease and flour it.

In the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mix the sugar, butter, and shortening.

until the mixture is a pale yellow color.

One at a time, add eggs, mixing each in completely before moving on to the next.

Add a third of the flour, followed by half of the milk and water.

Repeat the process using the remaining flour, milk, and water, thoroughly mixing after each addition.

Including vanilla extract Mix for another minute.

Fill the prepared tube pan with batter.
