Marcel’s Spicy Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs
This spicy slow cooker chicken dish is made with chicken thighs, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and as much salsa and hot sauce as you like.
In the slow cooker, mix the mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and yellow bell pepper.
2 teaspoons of hot pepper sauce should be applied to the chicken thighs.
In a skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
Cook chicken thighs for 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until just lightly browned.
Insert the slow cooker with the chicken thighs.
Add salsa and two teaspoons of hot sauce.
Add chicken broth and combine by stirring.
Cook for about 6 hours on Low, or until chicken thighs are tender.
