Key Lime Cake with Blackberry Frosting
Layered with blackberry frosting made with frozen berries and a tangy curd, this Key lime cake is then smothered with whipped cream frosting to make it even more impressive.
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Put parchment paper on the bottom of two 8-inch round cake pans.
Put the beaters and mixing bowl in the fridge to chill for the whipped cream frosting.
In a bowl, combine salt, baking soda, baking powder, and flour.
In the bowl of an electric stand mixer, combine the butter and sugar, and beat at medium speed for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
In the meantime, whip eggs in a separate bowl until foamy.
