Justin’s Frosted Chocolate Cone Cakes
Make an easy from-scratch chocolate cake batter and spoon into ice cream cones for fun and chocolatey baked treats. There’s an easy cream cheese frosting for the top, too.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Ten muffin cups should hold upright ice cream cones.
Salt, baking soda, and flour are combined in a mixing bowl.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter; then stir in the water and cocoa powder until well combined.
Mixture of melted butter and flour are combined.
Once the batter is moistened, stir in the eggs, buttermilk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
For about a minute, beat the batter with an electric mixer set to medium speed.
Fill ice cream cones with the chocolate cake batter, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top.
