Hearts of Palm Salad
My family loves this salad and always asks for it. It’s very simple to make. Because it is made with hearts of palm, people believe they are eating something special. Overnight chilling is ideal.
Whisk the vinegar and water in a medium bowl with the dressing mix until thoroughly combined.
Stir in the olive oil.
Stir in the hearts of palm before adding them to the bowl.
For at least an hour or overnight, cover and chill.
Before serving, top the salad with the bacon bits, green and black olives, and cheese.
