Grilled Salmon Sandwich with Dill Sauce
This sandwich features grilled salmon, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a simple sauce of dill, lemon zest, and mayonnaise.
For about 10 minutes, cook the bacon in a sizable deep skillet over medium-high heat until it is thoroughly browned.
On a plate covered with paper towels, drain the bacon slices.
Set an outdoor grill to medium-high heat and give the grates a quick oiling.
Apply the olive oil evenly to the salmon.
Cook the salmon on the preheated grill for about 5 minutes with the skin side down before flipping it over and continuing to cook for another 5 minutes or until the skin comes off the flesh with ease.
Cook the salmon for another two to three minutes, flipping it once more, until it flakes easily.
