Greek Butter Cookies
These Greek cookies are deliciously buttery and melt in your mouth — the perfect addition to your holiday cookie tray or for gifting at Christmas.

Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).

Grease baking trays.

In a medium bowl, combine the butter, sugar, and egg and whisk them with an electric mixer until smooth.

Add vanilla and almond extracts and stir.

Form a soft dough with your hands after blending in the flour.

Roll each portion of dough into balls, logs, or “S” shapes using about a teaspoon at a time.

Place the cookies on the prepared cookie sheets 1 to 2 inches apart.

Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden.

Cookies should be allowed to cool completely before being dusted with confectioners’ sugar.
