These super tender and juicy rib tips seasoned with BBQ rub and BBQ sauce are prepared in an electric smoker–taking much less time to prepare than smoked ribs.

Set a smoker’s temperature to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (120 degrees C).

Salt the tips of the ribs.

Massage the rib tips with the BBQ rub to coat them evenly.

Place the rib tips on the preheated smoker, and smoke them for 1 1/2 hours, misting them periodically with apple juice.

Place the rib tips and barbecue sauce on a baking sheet.

To coat, stir.

Put the rib tips back in the smoker and let them smoke for 30 minutes.

Place on a serving plate and rest for five minutes.
