Crunchy Fried Shrimp
Panko bread crumbs give delicious fried shrimp the ideal amount of crunch. They cook quickly in the pan for a quick weeknight meal.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
In a second medium bowl, whisk eggs until foamy.
In a third bowl, add bread crumbs.
Shake off any excess flour after dredging the shrimp in it.
Shrimp should be coated on both sides after being dipped into beaten eggs and then pressed into bread crumbs.
In a big, heavy pot, heat 2 inches of oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Batch-fry the shrimp in the hot oil for about a minute, or until fully cooked.
To drain the shrimp, move them with tongs to a plate covered in paper towels.
Repeat to cook the rest of the shrimp.
