Central American Tacos
Wonderful authentic tacos I first tasted in Guatemala at a taco stand. May be a little different to the American taste, but the green sauce is the crowning touch. The flavors are the subtle flavors of Central America.
Put the potatoes in a large pot and add just enough water to cover them.
Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes or until fork-tender.
Drain.
Crumble the ground beef and add it to a skillet over medium-high heat as the potatoes cook.
Stir in the onion after cooking for a short while.
Cook the meat until it stops being pink and the onion is soft.
Add the potatoes after gently removing any extra grease.
To taste, add salt and pepper to the food.
Put the cilantro, tomatillos, garlic, and jalapeno in a blender.
Put avocados in the blender after squeezing them from their skins.
until smooth, process.
In a skillet, warm up the tortillas until they are pliable.
Place some of the meat mixture on top and drizzle some sauce over it.
Roll up and have fun.
