Better Than Pumpkin Pie
It tastes and looks like pumpkin, but it’s actually butternut squash!
Put the squash in a saucepan and cover with water.
Over medium heat, bring to a boil and simmer for about 15 minutes or until tender.
Cool and drain.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Combine butternut squash, brown sugar, cornstarch, egg, and milk in a blender or food processor.
cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and allspice.
until smooth, process.
Fill the pie shell that hasn’t been baked.
Bake for 50 minutes in a preheated oven, or until a table knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
