Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic and Fig
Adding fig preserves and balsamic glaze to bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin gives you the perfect sweet-salty combo of flavors that is impressive enough to serve guests.
In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, smoked paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
The pork tenderloin should be covered with the spice mixture and left to rest for 20 to 25 minutes at room temperature.
Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
Use aluminium foil to cover a baking sheet.
Apply cooking spray to foil.
Lay the bacon slices side by side, slightly overlapping them, on a clean work surface.
On one side of the bacon, spread some fig preserves.
In order to wrap the pork tenderloin in bacon, place it on the bottom end of the bacon slices and roll up.
Tenderloin should be placed on the prepared baking sheet seam side down.
Remove the pork tenderloin from the oven after 15 minutes of roasting in the preheated oven.
